Peggy Burney

Peggy Sue Burney, 73, of Bladenboro, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at her home. She is preceded in death by sister: Janette Guyton of Bladenboro; brother: Houston Guyton of Akron, OH; brother: Hulon Guyton of Naples, FL; brother: Bulon Guyton of Bladenboro; brother: Charles Lynn Guyton of Bladenboro; brother: Buster Guyton of Charlotte, NC; sister: Margie Bryan of Bonifay, FL; and daughter-in-law: Sarah G. Burney of Bladenboro. Peggy is survived by her husband: Grady Burney of the home; son: Darel Burney of Bladenboro; daughter: Joy B. Wright and husband Ricky of Bladenboro; sister: Margaret Baxley of Bladenboro; three grandchildren: Lauren Burney, Mason and Morgan Skipper.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 20, from 6:00 until 8:00pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Warren Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
