Peggy Louise McCulloch Allen, 93, of Bladenboro, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 26, 2025, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton. Born on August 28, 1932, Peggy was the beloved daughter of the late David Frank McCulloch and Edith Snider McCulloch.

Peggy dedicated her life to education, teaching 6th-grade math for an impressive 30 years. Her passion for teaching and commitment to her students left a lasting impact on many lives. She was not only an educator but also a valued member of her community and a longstanding member of the First Baptist Church in Bladenboro since 1958.

On August 28, 1951, she married the love of her life, Charles Allen Sr., with whom she shared 55 cherished years. Peggy's dedication to her family was evident throughout her life. She is survived by her daughters: Cathy A. Gunter and Carolyn A. Mack (Scot), alongside her grandsons: Lee Allen (Mary), David Allen (Tabatha), Kyle Gunter, Ryan Gunter, and Spencer Mack (Megan). Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Aiden Allen, Emily Allen, Hannah Allen, Phoenix Allen, and Juno Allen, all of whom brought her immense joy.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Allen Sr.; her son, Charles Allen Jr.; and her brothers: David Frank McCulloch Jr. and Neil McCulloch.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 3rd in the Pine Crest Cemetery, located on South Main Street in Bladenboro, North Carolina

Peggy will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched with her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love for family and education.
