Richard Long

Richard "Buddy" Monroe Long, 72, Navy Veteran of Bladenboro passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019. He leaves behind his wife, Ann Long of Bladenboro; two sons: Mike Long (Jonalyn) of Wilmington; Steve Long (Rachel) of Lake Waccamaw; two daughters: Jeannie Branch (Keith) of Bladenboro; Terry Simmons (Kenny) of Lumberton; two sisters: Kay Walters of Bladenboro; Marie Ludlum of Bladenboro; five grandchildren: Erica Inman (Casey), Sebastian Long (Megan), Courtney Simmons, Craig Long and Alyssa Branch and two great grandchildren: Mila Long and Lorelai Inman.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, February 5th at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, February 6th at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Brisson officiating. Burial will follow the services in Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton.
