Robert Collins

Robert Edward Collins, 74, of Bladenboro passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents: Johnny N. Collins and Bessie Dowless Collins. Robert leaves behind his loving wife of 54 years, Gracie D. Collins of the home, two daughters: Ann Johnson of the home; Alice Guyton and husband Junior of Bladenboro; one brother Bill Collins of Bladenboro; three grandsons: James Dove and wife Nickel, Jonathan Dowless, Daniel Dowless and wife Tabitha, three great grandchildren: Jason Dowless, Ryan Dowless, Alyssa Dowless, one step great grandson: Joshua Washington, and son in law: William James Dove.

Robert cherished his dear wife and his family. He was an outgoing, friendly soul who loved people. Robert enjoyed fishing, watching sports, racing and a good meal. He will certainly be missed.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 2nd at 11:00 am at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services in Bladen Memorial Gardens in Elizabethtown.
