Robert Gooden

Robert "Bob" Allen Gooden, 75, of Clarkton, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center in Whiteville, NC. Mr. Gooden was born April 18, 1941 to the late Robert Leroy and Gertrude Barfield Gooden in Clarkton, and attended Clarkton Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include: aunt, Helen Barfield Heustess; several cousins; many friends and his caretakers.
Bob's caretakers and family will receive friends on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 2-2:45pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown followed by a celebration of life service at 3 pm. Rev. Steuart Link and Rev. Matt Seals will be officiating services. Entombment will follow at Peacock Funeral Home in Whiteville, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clarkton Presbyterian Church 10433 College St. Clarkton, NC 28433; Lower Cape Fear Hospice 206 Warrior Trail Road Whiteville, NC 28472 or a charity of one's choice in his honor.
