Robert Matthews

Robert "Bobby" Ray Matthews, 65, of Elizabethtown passed away peacefully Thursday, November 2, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville. He is preceded in death by his parents, Beauford and Ledus Matthews, two sisters: Lois Matthews and Dorothy Culbreth and one brother Larry Matthews. Survivors include: two nieces Brenda C. Harris and husband Tim Harris of Clinton, Anita M. Halcomb and husband Tony of Huntersville, NC and a great nephew Matthew Halcomb of Huntersville, NC; beloved sister-in-law Shirley Matthews of Elizabethtown and his dear brother-in-law Donald B. Culbreth of Elizabethtown.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Bladen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the charity of your choice.
