Dr. Robert Lee Smith Sr., 99 year old, WW II Army Veteran of Wilmington passed away Friday, July 13, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents: Dayton R. and Margaret Smith, his wives: Frances Pittard Smith, Rosalyn H. Smith and one granddaughter Stephanie S. Schmidt. Robert practiced dentistry in North Carolina for over 50 years. Robert is survived by one son: Bob Smith Jr. of Angier, one daughter: June Munns and husband Bob of Cary; one step-son: Donnie Edwards and family of Greensboro, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Kelly Cemetery in Bladenboro at 2 pm with Rev. Fred Senter officiating.
