Robie Lee Kinlaw

Robie Lee Kinlaw, 73, formerly of Dublin passed away at Beacon Place in Greensboro on Sunday, January 11, 2026. Robie was born on November 12, 1952, and raised in Dublin. He is preceded in death by his parents: James Bradford and Isabel Dowless Kinlaw.

Robie is survived by his wife, Edna Jones Kinlaw of Greensboro; sisters: Ann Thompson (Leo) of Dublin, Sue Carter (Christopher) of Dublin; brothers: Elton Kinlaw (Connie) of Tar Heel, David Kinlaw (Joanne) of Whiteville, and many nieces and nephews.

Robie was an excellent welder he loved his job and created many stair-steps, railings, and gates. He enjoyed working on his automobile, piddling in the shop and building birdhouses and other woodwork. He could fix most of everything. He enjoyed Melvin’s hamburgers, cooking chicken on the grill, and saltwater fishing. Robie was a gentle soul who was always grateful for what he had and always greeted you with a “Hey Bo”. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
