Ronald Richard Larrimore

United States Vietnam Veteran, Ronald Richard Larrimore of Clarkton passed away peacefully at the age of 81 while at the Lower Cape Fear Lifecare Angel House in Whiteville on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. He was preceded in death by his father Woodrow Morning Lawrimore, mother Daisy H. Lawrimore, and siblings Ralph Lawrimore, Carlysle Lawrimore, Lowell Hines Ruby Lupo and Carolyn Hope.

Left to cherish his memory are brother Odell Lawrimore and wife Dianne, sister-in-law Virginia Lawrimore, all of Conway, SC, two daughters, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and his long-time friend and caretaker, Marjorie Priest of Council.

Ronald was a man of many talents that loved his family and his country. He joined the United States Air Force as a young man where he worked as a Military Policeman with Sharpshooter certifications and served a term of one year during the Vietnam War. Ronald enjoyed life whether on the dance floor, on the golf course, down at a fishing hole somewhere or in the garden tending the flowers. He was known for his love of talking and his ability to never meet a stranger. He will be missed by all those that loved him dearly.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the White Plains Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall immediately followed by a funeral service in the sanctuary at 3 pm with the Pastor Chris Carlisle officiating. Burial will follow the services in the church cemetery.
