Ronald Franklin Matthews, 74, of Elizabethtown entered into eternal rest Tuesday, December 4, 2012. He was an Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Jean Matthews.
He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Matthews DelValle; two grandsons, Joseph Glenn Jernigan and Brandon Matthew Jernigan; a granddaughter, Amanda Jernigan; and a great-grandchild, Naomi Reign Jernigan.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 7, from 6 PM until 8 PM at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home.
A private graveside service is planned.
