Ruth Burney

Mrs. Ruth (Ree) Marie Burney, 66 of Dublin, formally of Leland, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012.



Mrs. Burney is preceded in death by her parents, Vester and Sudie Hester Evers; two sisters, Anne Belle McCumbee, Estelle Caulder ; five brothers, William James Evers, Elwood Evers, Junior Evers, Clyde Evers and Grady Evers.



The family will receive friends on Monday, March, 12, 2012 at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home from 7:00 until 9:00 pm.



Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, from Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home at 2:00pm with Rev. Leon Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.



Mrs. Burney is survived by her husband, Carl Burney of Leland; her daughter, Lisa Burney of Leland, a son, Dean Burney of Wilmington; two sisters, Margie Dew of Dublin, Frieda Tombleson of St. Pauls and one grandchild.
