Samuel Phillips

Samuel " Sammy" Phillips, 67, of Council passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eldridge Kyle and Mary Evelyn Phillips; and his son, Anthony Kyle Phillips. He was retired from the National Guard and DuPont.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Mt. Horeb Cemetery with Revs. Mark Creech and Ronnie Wilson officiating.

Mr. Phillips in survived by his wife, Linda Phillips of the home; his daughter, Samantha Phillips of the home; his grandson, Jackson Kyle Phillips; brothers, Carmon Phillips of Greensboro; and Kenneth Phillips of Kinston.
