Sarah Elizabeth Edwards Carson, 76, of Wilmington passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012.
She was born in Columbus County on August 16, 1935 to the late Garry and Ida Hilburn Edwards. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. V. Carson and her parents.
Sarah is survived by her daughter, Susan Reynolds of Winnabow; one brother, Tillman Edwards of Elizabethtown; one granddaughter, Katrina Kennedy and husband, Kenneth of Boiling Spring Lakes.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 pm with Rev. Chris Wroten officiating. Burial will follow in Bladen Memorial Gardens.
