Scott Barnett

Scott Barnett, 54, of Bladenboro passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Babson Barnett of the home; mother, Charlotte Goble of Kentucky; daughters, Crystal Meads (Clint) of Kentucky, Patty Sue Davis (Jamie) of Bladenboro, Diana Barnett of Bladenboro, April Burce (Jesse) of Ohio, Julie Barnett of the home; son, Michael Barnett of the home; step-son, Randall Norris (Jessica) of Bladenboro; sisters, Sheri Conn (Shawn) of Kentucky, Shonda Sheperd of Kentucky; brothers, Sheldon Barnett of Kentucky, Steve Barnett (Sharon) of Kentucky, Walter Laser of Ohio; and eleven grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his step-daughter, Yolanda Bookmyer; brother, Sam Barnett, and step-father, Jessie Goble.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home with Rev. O'Neil Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Singletary Cemetery in the Sandhills.
