Sherman Jacobs, 78, of Clarkton passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012. He was born in New York on April 28, 1933 to late John and Oliva Middleton Jacobs. Mr. Sherman was a veteran of the US Marines.
Sherman is survived by his wife, Barbara Jacobs of the home; three sons, Kevin B. Jacobs of New York, Eprendii S. Whaw of Colorado, and Sadonu R. Jacobs of Florida; three daughters, Sebiila K. Odin of Maryland, Ladaretta Carty of Florida and Roveda Burke of New York; fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Central Presbyterian Church with Rev. Walker officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
