Shirley Welch

Shirley Sessoms Welch, age 67 of Elizabethtown Passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She retired from Veeder Root/Danaher after thirty-five years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mary Jane Sessoms, three sisters, Jeanie, Sudie and Brenda and one brother, John Sessoms.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Levy Welch of the home; one son, Victor Welch and his wife Laura of Bladenboro; three brothers, Marshall Sessoms of Elizabethtown, Bobby Sessoms and wife Dorothy of Elizabethtown and James Wilkes of Lumberton; one sister, Vickie Smith of Lumberton, two grandchildren, Austin Welch and Hunter White.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 1:30 until 2:45 pm at Northside Baptist Church. Services will follow at 3:00 pm at the church with Rev. Ricky Donaldson officiating. Burial will follow at Bladen Memorial Gardens in Elizabethtown.
