Sylvia Meshaw

Sylvia Bigford Meshaw, 84, of Elizabethtown, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Susie Bigford; husband, Henry Barney Meshaw, Jr.; two sons: Dennis Walter Meshaw, Danny Eugene Meshaw and daughter, Debbie Kay Meshaw.

Sylvia leaves behind her daughter, Cathy Batchelor and fiancѐ, Wayne Bass of Clinton; son, Kenneth Meshaw and wife, Charlene of Wallace; daughter-in-law, Sarah Meshaw; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren and three great,great-grandchildren.

Sylvia was a loving Christian lady that was very faithful to her church. She defeated all odds and proved what it looks like to overcome anything. A caregiver who always did the best she could for her children and grandchildren. She always had a positive attitude and never found fault with anyone. The memory of her gentle spirit will live on forever.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, December 22nd in the Old Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery in Elizabethtown.
