Thomas "Tom" Hales

Thomas "Tom" Hales, 82, of Bladenboro passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. He was born April 27, 1943 the son of the late Bradley Lennon Hales and Ethel Virginia Smith Hales. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother John Bradley Hales. 

Left to cherish his memory are beloved wife, Brenda Storms Hales of the home, son John Hales and wife Tamie of Ash, and four grandchildren, Emily, Wyatt, Isaac, and Luke Hales. 

Tom was a loving husband, proud father and doting grandfather. His son and grandchildren were his heart and he often shared with others how proud he was of them. Education was also a large part of his life and he spent a number of years teaching in the Bladen County School System. He enjoyed traveling to Colorado, spending quality time with his family, and attending church. He will always be remembered for his love and devotion to both the Lord and his family. 

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 3 pm in the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Bladenboro with Pastor Bryan Hickman officiating.
