Timothy Glenn Guyton

Timothy “Tim” Glenn Guyton, 66, passed away at the Community Innovations Strawberry residential facility in Chadbourn, N.C. on December 15, 2024, following an extended illness.  He was born to the late Mildred Evelyn Brisson and Miller Clifton Guyton on July 22, 1958 in Bladen County.

Tim attended school in Dublin and Bladenboro and lived on the family farm until recent years.

He was preceded in passing by his parents as well as his brother, “Teddy” Theodore Hugh Guyton.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister and brothers, Vicki Koon and her husband Dr. Bryan Koon of Durham, NC, Gary Guyton and his wife Linda of Sunset Beach, NC, and Joel Guyton and his wife Penny of Bladenboro, NC; his nieces and nephews, Badger Koon, Travis Koon and wife Helen Jung, Kelly Koon MacLeod and husband Darrin MacLeod, Erika Hoover and her husband Jay, Ashley Hooks and her husband Grant, and Joelle Butler and her husband Josh; and his grandnieces & grandnephews, Holiday MacLeod, Lucille MacLeod, Cosmos MacLeod, Meta MacLeod and Mac MacLeod, Ethan Hoover, Gavin Hooks, Garrett Hooks, Kara Hooks, Bryce Butler, Greigh Butler, and Ryder Butler.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the Pleasant Grove Church Fellowship Hall in Bladenboro. A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow in the church sanctuary at 2 pm.
