Timothy Wayne "Moose" Harvey

Timothy Wayne Harvey, also known as "Moose", 55, U.S. Air Force Veteran passed away peacefully at the Valley Hospice House in Fayetteville on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. He was preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn Faircloth.

Wayne loved his family especially his two sons. He enjoyed spending time playing computer games, watching his favorite show, Friends or listening to his favorite band, Tool. Although Wayne had some physical challenges in the last several years of his life, he met them with great tenacity and strength. His determination to keep going and love of life will always be remembered.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mary Ellen Harvey Wade and husband Teddy Earl Wade; his two sons: Andrew and Gabriel Harvey and siblings: Greg Harvey, Ted Wade Jr. (Aimee), Alisa Huggins Hadley (Donnie), Sherry Billings, and Michelle Frisby (Darren). 

A Celebration of his life is planned for Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 12:00 pm at the Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. 

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Willa Dean Ejiofor for all her care, support and love that was given to Wayne over the years.
