Vera Mae Kinlaw Hester, 95, of Bladenboro, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Sally Kinlaw; sister: Emma Simmons; three brothers: Charlie, Ervin, and Tallie Kinlaw. Vera is survived by husband: Curtis Hester of the home; son: Randy Hester and wife Sue of Whiteville; daughter: Ava Brisson and husband Glenn of Bladenboro; sister: Katie King of Bladenboro; three grandchildren: Kevin Brisson, Burt Brisson, Jonathan Hester; five great-grandchildren: Mackenzie, Nolan, Hayden, Thad and Ava Marie Brisson.
The family will receive friends at 3pm on Sunday, September 8th at New Light Church with a funeral service at 4pm with Rev. Dale Hester officiating service. Burial will follow service at PineCrest Cemetery in Bladenboro.
