Ms. Vivian Jeffers, 78, of Bladenboro died Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Woodhaven Nursing and Alzheimer Care Center in Lumberton.
Ms. Jeffers was born in Cumberland County on August 14, 1930 to Henry and Mattie Kelly Jeffers; she was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Rachel and Annie, one brother Raymond Jeffers.
She is survived by one daughter, Virginia Bennett of Bladenboro; three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 2, 2009 from 12:30 until 1:30 pm at Bladen - Gaskins Funeral Home; funeral services will follow at 1:30 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Smith and Sister Hazel Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Cashwell Cemetery, Burney Rd. Bladenboro.
