Wanda Sue Meares

Wanda Sue Bruce Meares, 73, of Bladenboro passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents, Deby and Hazel Hardee Bruce and her son, Timmy Meares.

Wanda enjoyed spending time with her family. When she was not driving a truck for Hester Tire, you would find her fishing, painting, working in her yard or playing with her pug puppies.

She is survived by her husband James Meares of the home and her brother, Frank Bruce.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the funeral service at 2:00pm with Rev. Charles Hester officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
