Wayne Mcpherson

Wayne W. "Dick" McPherson, 66, of 13506 Twisted Hickory Road, entered into eternal rest Saturday, June 2, 2007.



Mr. McPherson was born in Columbus County to Sam and Flora McPherson. He was a well-known farmer.

He was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Jane McPherson.



Mr. McPherson is survived by three sons, Michael Wayne McPherson and wife, Martha, of Bladenboro, Christopher Mark McPherson and wife, Tina, of Chadbourn, and David Glenn McPherson and wife, Betty Anne, of Bladenboro; two sisters, Hazel Bennett of Columbia, SC and Derotha Fink of Fayetteville, NC; six grandchildren, Summer, Sam, Jack, Ian, Tyler, and Meredith; and a best friend, Joann Kinlaw.



Visitation is planned for Monday, June 4, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Bladen Funeral Home. The funeral will be Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 2:00 PM at West Bladenboro Baptist Church with Rev. Boyd Britt and Rev. Bert Young officiating. The burial will follow the service in Union Valley Cemetery on Smyrna Road, Whiteville.
