Wilbur Hester

Wilbur Floyd Hester, 68, of Bladenboro passed away on Friday, March 14, 2014 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Haynes and Eva Johnson Hester.

Wilbur is survived by his loving spouse of 36 years, Denise S. Hester of the home; one son, William Bradley Hester and wife Chryssi of Rockhill, SC; one daughter, Mollie H. Smith and husband Audie of Bladenboro; one brother, Donald Hester; three grandchildren, Emma Rose Smith of Bladenboro, Benjamin Clyde and Riley Elizabeth Hester both of Rockhill, SC.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 2:00 until 2:45 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at the Funeral Home at 3:00 pm with Rev. Thomas Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Singletary Cemetery in Butter.
