Willard Edwards

Willard Johnson Edwards, 80, of Elizabethtown passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014. He was preceded in death by his first wife Elizabeth Edwards, two sons: Wilton and Charlie Edwards and one great grandchild Dakota Edwards.
He is survived by his wife Diane Edwards, of the home, one son Jerry Atkinson of Tennessee, three daughters: Catherine Barrett of Elizabethtown, Carolyn Perry of Bladenboro, and Angie Davis of Ammons, two brothers: Jack Edwards of Whiteville and Joseph Edwards of Florida, 22 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Peace Baptist Church in Bladenboro with Rev. Buddy Cain officiating. Burial will follow the services in Singletary Cemetery in Bladenboro.
