Tar Heel William Grimes �Billy� McDaniel, 68, of hwy 87, died Friday, November 11, at home.



The funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at Dublin First Baptist Church with Rev. Cameron McGill officiating. Burial was in Grimes Cemetery.



Mr. McDaniel is survived by a son, William David McDaniel of Tar Heel; a daughter, Debora McDaniel of Tar Heel; one sister, Josephine Stewart and husband Laddie of Southern Pines; one grandchild, Molli Ann McDaniel; and a faithful friend, Sarah Cummings McDaniel of North Myrtle Beach, SC.



Services were handled by Bladen Funeral Home of Elizabethtown.
