William Amous Thorp Jr., 81, of Whiteville, NC passed away Friday, April 7, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents Willie Amous Thorp Sr. and Annie Adams, and two children: Butch Thorp and Charlette Thorp. William is survived by two brothers: Linrod Patterson of Whiteville; Jerome Patterson of Rodchester, NY; one sister Geraldine Rouse of Whiteville, several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
