Willie Hester

Willie Harold "Honky Tonk" Hester, 70, of Bladenboro passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014 at New Hanover Regional Hospital. The family will receive friends from 2:00-2:45 pm on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with a funeral service following at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow at Bladen Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends at other times at the home of James & Edna Hester, 1586 Horse Shoe Road, Bladenboro.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Mitchell and Ruby Russ Hester, two sisters, Alice and June and a brother, Tony. He is survived by one daughter, Tracey Hester of Virginia; three brothers, James Hester and wife Edna of Bladenboro, Douglas Hester of Bladenboro and Linwood Hester of TN; two sisters, Betty Arkon of TN and Norma Shelton of Virginia.
