Willie Jean "Jeanie" Burney Teel, 69, of White Oak passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley Burney Jr. and Willie Hester Edwards Burney. Jeanie leaves behind daughter, Carla Teel of the home.
Jeanie loved her family. She was an art teacher who enjoyed singing, playing the piano, the guitar and horseback riding. Jeanie always felt she was closest to God riding the mountainsides of North Carolina. Jeanie's love of life and talents will certainly be missed.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 3:00 pm at the Christ Community Baptist Church, 4761 NC 53 West, White Oak, NC 28399. Burial will follow the services in the White Oak Family Worship Center Cemetery in White Oak.
