Wilton Hickman

Wilton McCoy Hickman, 83 of Bladenboro, NC entered into eternal rest on Thursday March 5, 2009.

Mr. Hickman was born on August 23, 1925, in Bladen County to Coi and Ada Brisson. He is predeceased by his parents, wife; Kathleen Hester Hickman, and one sister Alma Bowman White.

He is survived by daughters; Frances Shaw and husband Glen of Bladenboro NC; Nancy H. Oaks and husband Wayne of Fuquay Varinia, NC; brother Robert Hickman of Bladenboro NC; sister Margaret Buffkin of Florence SC; five Grandchildren; three step grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one step great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 8, 2009 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:00pm with Rev. Cameron McGill and Rev. Arthur Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
